Ashley Blackwood, APRN, graduated from the University of Alabama., with a B.S. in nursing. She worked as an RN for almost 10 years in ICU before returning to school at The University of South Alabama, where she obtained her Master’s degree as an Advanced Practice Nurse with a focus in family practice.

Ashley is married, and she and her husband have two daughters.  In her free time, she enjoys water sports and traveling to the beach or going to the lake.
