
KENT COVERT, M.D.
Originally from Searcy, Arkansas, Dr. Covert graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1999 with a B.A. in Microbiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2003 and served as his medical school class president. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Harold H. Hedges III, M.D. Endowed Scholarship in Family Medicine. Dr. Covert completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Area Health Education Center (AHEC-Northwest) in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he served as Chief Resident.
He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the Arkansas Medical Society, the Pulaski County Medical Society, and past President of the Pulaski County Medical Exchange. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Covert is married and has three children – two daughters and a son. The Coverts attend Fellowship Bible Church. His hobbies include golf, tennis, Razorback sports, travel, and military history.
Dr. Covert was selected as the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette “Best of the Best General Medical Practitioner for 2015.”
